Each skein is a unique piece made from 100% Merino – hand-painted, never reproducible, soft as silk. Exclusive at BONIFAKTUR.

Only One Mélange Merino is the luxury version of the Only-One series: 100% finest Merino Wool, superwash, with a silky drape and skin-friendly even for sensitive skin. Each skein is individually "painted" by Franziska Uhl in water – a process that takes hours, where she applies color layer by layer like in an oil painting. The colors come from leftover dyes from previous dyeing sessions, turning them into unique creations instead of being discarded.

With 400 m per 100 g in fingering weight, Only One Mélange Merino can be worked like any other fingering yarn – solo for special projects, as a highlight accent, or combined with other colors. 19 unique pieces, each available only once. The dyeing process saves dye, water, and energy – Sustainability as a natural result of creativity.
